National Park Battlefield Redoubts 9 & 10 Tour

Begin your visit at Little York Confectionery, home of Yorktown & Co. located in the National Park's Somerwell house c.1690, where you will board a replica Stanley Steamer Wagon and ride through the National Park Battlefields.

Sites visited: Redoubts 9 & 10, the Moore House where the terms of Surrender were signed, and Surrender Field where the British surrendered to the Continental Army.

This tour offers on/off stops so you can walk inside of Redoubt 9 to envision and feel the perseverance of our Nation’s independent spirit, take a short walk to see Redoubt 10 where Alexander Hamilton led a victorious attack in the dark of night, walk the grounds of the Moore House where the Surrender Terms were signed, and visit Surrender Field where the British Troops surrendered to the Continental Army.

Complete with National Park certified tour guide, your experience includes a stop at the NPS Visitor Center Museum where you will see one of George Washington’s campaign tents, exhibits depicting the 1781 siege of Yorktown, and Revolutionary War artifacts.

* 2-hour NPS permitted/certified Steamer Wagon guided tour with Federal permissions for guided experience in the National Park and Battlefields with on/off stops.
* Ticket includes National Park Pass good for 7 days entrance to Yorktown Battlefield (and NPS areas at Historic Jamestowne); can be upgraded to see Preservation Virginia areas at Historic Jamestowne for an additional cost at the Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center

*No additional discounts permitted
*Children under 4 yrs & under may ride free of charge as long as they do not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a ticketed passenger
*Children age 5 years -17 years must purchase Child's  admission ticket
*Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult

*Consumption of alcohol is prohibited while on the Steamer Wagon
*Smoking and vaping is prohibited while on the Steamer Wagon
*Music/ sound being played from guests personal cell phones, radios, etc is prohibited while on the Steamer Wagon

*With the exception properly documented service animals, no animals
or pets are allowed on board
*Service animal must remain on the floor, not permitted on the passenger seating



*Yorktown & Co reserves the right to require any person to leave a tour if it deems his/her conduct offensive or problematic to other passengers, or if behaving constitutes a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers.  Proper law enforcement will be contacted. In extreme cases, the tour will pause while waiting for Federal Law Enforcement to arrive at the location.
